“Murder Most Yowl” Snippet #5

Hey everybody.

It’s Rainbow Snippets time, and I am so excited. My novel Murder Most Yowl goes on sale this Wednesday!

In this week’s Snippet Cam and Jake are having a heart to heart moment after nearly losing their lives. Take a look:

 

 “I chose to ride with you, all the way to the ocean.”

There it was, out in the open. I’d stayed with him, rather than save my own skin and leave him behind.

“I’ve only known you a week, and you nearly died with me.” His voice cracked just a little. He arranged the napkin shreds into a piece of abstract art. “Why didn’t you jump? You could have saved yourself. Should have saved yourself.”
